Fish Farming - Expansion Completed
Mercury Mint is pleased to announce that the expansion of its farming capacity from 4 earth ponds / 4 cages to 5 earth ponds / 20 cages have been completed. The new earth pond is currently being used to grow hundreds of thousand of imported Australian Jade Perch fries into fingerlings. This highly invested pilot project, when proven successful, would lead to our further investment and capacity expansion in the cultivation of Australian Jade Perch that contains extraordinary high level of Omega-3 oil.

In view of good harvests of its healthy and high quality Tilapia and Jade Perch fishes, Mercury Mint is expanding its farming capacity from 4 earth ponds and 4 cages to 5 earth ponds and 20 cages. We are committed to continuous improvement and development of our facilities whilst exploring other larger lands for higher production potentials.

Fish Farming - progress
Mercury Mint has successfully completed its pilot project for fish growing of Tilapia and Jade Perch from Australia. Located at Broga and supplied with natural water flow and surrounded by clean natural environment, the fishes are growing steadily as expected. Currently, our earth ponds and floating cages are well-equipped with aeration and water recirculation system. At the same time, we are increasing its capacities and facilities in line with our expanding plans in response to growing market demand.

Fish Farming
We are excited to announce that our business activities have now been extended to fish farming. This new activity is being undertaken by our subsidiary company, Mercury Mint Sdn. Bhd.
